In a HuffPo piece, Dennis A. Henigan Vice President, Brady Campaign; writes, regarding school shootings:
Give these violent individuals baseball bats or knives instead of guns and everything changes.
DenHen is involved with an organization that started out as Handgun Control, Inc. (that says a lot about them) but then changed their name to Brady Campaign and now advocates the banning of riffles, too. All of this because of a violent act. But here, DenHen is advocating the use of baseball backs and knives by would-be shooters. Perhaps he could call the family of this mom and son who were beaten to death with a baseball bat and let them know that their loss doesn't count, because it wasn't a 'gun death'. Or, maybe he will call this young couple's family, and explain to them that the death of their loved ones isn't as tragic because a gun wasn't used. Let's not forget Barry Winchell, who was beaten to death with a baseball bat. The list goes on, and on. Hey, DenHen, why don't you call up Eugenio Rosales' family and tell them that the loss of their loved one doesn't count, you know, because a gun wasn't used.
He says nothing about intervention or prevention, just change the murder weapon and it's all better. That's a true class act right there.
He also spews this crap:
Take the guns from Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris and 13 students and teachers would not have died at Columbine High School, nor would 21 others have been injured.
Really? Hey Dumbass, they built 99 improvised explosive devices. The only reason the death toll wasn't higher, is because the two shooters were too dumbass to build a working bomb.
He continues with this junk:
It was undisputed that the Columbine killers exploited the "gun show loophole" to acquire their weapons
They used a straw buyer that could have passed a background check, dipshit.
