A former Frankfort Village Police Officer who is currently facing charges for allegedly trying to illegally obtain cell phone records on a fellow officer is now facing new charges in an unrelated incident.
On Thursday, February 23, 2012, New York State Police charged Daniel Herrman, 39, of Yorkville with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
I wonder how many times this upstanding officer arrested someone else for these same offences for which he is charged.
Of course, we can't forget the fiasco over in NY with the cops running the gun smuggling ring. From the NY Daily News, we have this.
Three more cops nabbed in a two-year sting face prison sentences after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges Monday in Manhattan Federal Court.
Yep, that's not who I want responsible for protecting me. I think I'll take on that job myself.
